One Kiss

        Robin sat on his bed with his head in his hands. How could he have messed everything up? It's been almost two days since he had last seen Kid Flash, when would he get a chance to explain? The day had been going perfect too.

        It was quiet in Mount Justice that day, everyone was out doing something, leaving Kid Flash and Robin on their own. They sat in the living room, playing video games. Earlier that day Kid had suggested they go to the beach but the weather quickly turned grey and gloomy. Robin was beating KF badly and the ginger was not happy. The black haired teen cackled at the speedster's obvious frustration at being beaten.

        "Not doing so well, Kid Mouth?"  Kid Flash stuck his tongue out at the younger, then turned back to the game with a renewed determination. The smaller boy smiled softly at his friend's concentration and got lost in the reflective green pools that were the speedster's eyes.

        "HA! I finally beat you!" Exclaimed Wally as e pumped his fist in the air. Dick groaned at his friend, complaining that he was distracted. It's not like he was lying. "I bet I could beat you out of the game too," he said as he stood up, getting ready to pounce on the little bird. Robin saw Kid Flash out the corner of his eye and moved just in time.

        The wresting continued until Robin had KF pinned to the ground panting like a dog. "So, who could beat who out of the game?" Dick asked with a fake innocence in his voice. The sight of Wally stuck under him was tempting, the speedster was almost helpless. He leaned down slowly, waiting for the inevitable rejection. When there none, he closed the distance and softly kissed the taller teen. Kid Flash froze. His eyes were wide open in shock, as Robin pulled away Wally turned redder than his hair.

        "I- er- have to go do… something," Stuttered out the ginger as pushed the black haired boy off him and ran. Dick hung his head and tried to hold back the tears as he heard the distant sound of the Zeta tube. Kid Flash ran, his mind was racing. Why did Robin kiss him? Why did he enjoy it so much? He was straight dammit! His thoughts betrayed him, focusing on the softness of Dick's lips, the soft blush that adorned his cheeks, the look of despair on his face as Wally ran. The red-headed teen felt a pang of sadness in his chest at the memory of that face.

        Wally spent hours in his room, thinking about what had happened. He thought he was straight as a ruler, but now he wasn't so sure. Dick always looked so beautiful in a fight, the four years of training with Batman and the years in the circus apparent in his strength and agility. His soft, clear  skin, his cackle, his awesome flexibility… everything about Robin was amazing. 'Crap,' Wally thought as he slowly drifted to sleep, 'I think I like him.'

       When the time came for Kid Flash duty with the Flash the next day, Barry noticed something off about his nephew. "Kid, what's wrong? You're usually so energetic and hyped up by now…" Wally just looked down and shook his head.

       Things continued on like this for several hours until the two stopped for dinner. They sat in the booth, waiting for the mass amounts of food in silence until Wally choked out a few words, "I think… I messed up… bad." Barry only needed to wait a few short seconds for the rest of the story. "R- someone close to me kissed me… I got freaked out and ran away but, I think I liked it and now I can't go back 'cus I just left them there and there's no way they could not hate me and-" The blonde cut off his nephew by nearly slapping his hand on to the ginger's mouth.

        "I think I get it Wally.  Now then, why don't you go tell Robin how you feel," Wally gaped like a fish at his uncle. "It's obvious, almost everyone noticed. Now go!" With those words the younger speedster took off, hoping to find his birdie easily. He ran to Mount Justice first, crossing his fingers that the little black haired teen was there. There were no lights from Robin's room and Kid Flash almost didn't try to check the inside until he heard a small sniffle from the direction of the bed.

        Robin was a mess. His hair disheveled, eyes red and sunglasses thrown somewhere on the floor. Wally crept in near silently, "Hey bro, how 'ya doing?"

       "Cut the crap Kid Idiot, why are you here? I don't want any hellos right now." Robin spat out irritably.

       "I- I'm sorry Robs, I was so scared and overwhelmed I just- I didn't think."

       "When do you ever think? Idiot." With that Robin dragged Kid Flash into a soft, sweet kiss. The taller teen wrapped his arms around the smaller's waist and pulled him closer, breaking away when the need for air became too great. Wally looked down into Dick's startlingly blue eyes and his own green ones widened.

       "Your eyes are really pretty Rob…" Wally spoke with awe evident in his voice.

       "Call me Richard- er – Dick" Robin said with a blush on his face, looking down, away from intense green eyes.

       Kid tilted Dick's chin up towards himself, looking into the magnificent blue eyes,                 "I love you, Dick," he whispered as he lent down to place a soft peck on smooth, pink lips.
       
        As he pulled away Dick replied softly, "I love you too, Wally"
